Ashtanga
Discovering Ashtanga in 2008 was a revelation for me that changed the course of my life. Settled in Lyon in 2010, I joined the only school dedicated at the time exclusively to Ashtanga: the Mysore Yoga School. Pierre Baronian, my teacher at the time, strongly encouraged me to teach, seeing in me natural aptitudes for transmission and my real joy in this exchange. I started teaching alongside him, under his supervision and encouragement in 2013, that is to say after 5 years of passionate daily practice, in parallel with the exercise of the profession of lawyer in business law. The personal transformation that had been initiated in part through Ashtanga amplified my yearning for a lifestyle more in line with Yoga. I therefore decided, in the fall of 2014, to resign from the Bar to give another depth to my life and more substance to Yoga in my daily life, in particular by devoting myself to the practice and teaching of Ashtanga. , courtesy of my teacher. In 2015, I was accepted to practice 2 months with Sharath Jois in Mysore (India), and thus receive a teaching at the source. This experience marked the beginning of regular training trips to India. Since then, I have given birth to two daughters, in 2017 and 2020. Motherhood – from the stage of pregnancy – has been and is for me the most intense and richest Yoga experience – and also the most difficult – which was given to me to live to this day, and which continues to be so. I have never stopped practicing daily with as much passion as when I started, a passion constantly reinforced by the wealth of discoveries offered by this discipline on the physical and psychological levels.
