Is a virtuoso of kathak, the indian classical dance of North India and has been performing internationally for more than a decade.
It was in Monaco that her artistic studies begun in 1998: at the conservatory of music as well as at the dance school “Danse Plus”, followed by an intensive course at the Laban dance Center in London.
In 2006, Priscilla was sorted out by her Master, Pandit Ravi Shankar Mishra from Benares during an workshop.
In January 2014, Gauri founded her association Sangeet Swiss under the patronage of Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra, in order to promote Indian classical arts. Gauri is the winner of the 2020 Mobility Grant for Artistic Research from the Department of Culture of Fribourg, her hometown. Gauri is also trained as an Indian classical vocalist and tabla. She has performed for the prestigious Benares Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh Festival. Dancer and choreographer she collaborates in many fusion projects and productions including with the Landwehr of Fribourg, the liquid circus and the ballets of Monte-Carlo.
